Ernst Weberstorfer and his wife Judith Weberstorfer, drawing on many years of hands‑on practical experience and close collaboration with their customers, have developed a range of tensor models designed to meet the diverse needs of commuters. The brand they founded, Original Ökotensor, has since stood for harmonious design, well‑thought‑out constructions, and a high level of functionality. Established in 1989, the company has accompanied a steadily growing number of users in many countries around the world ever since.
Today, the company is run by the second generation under the name Inve OG, led by siblings Simon Weberstorfer and Nina Mayr, the children of Ernst and Judith Weberstorfer.
For us, the Original Ökotensor is not just a product, but an integral part of our family history.
All Original Ökotensors are handcrafted in our own manufactory in the Salzkammergut region. Some models are created through more than 20 individual production steps. Throughout the process, great care is taken to ensure that every single piece is harmonious and perfectly balanced. Only after a personal final inspection does a tensor leave the manufactory. Today, production lies in the hands of Simon Weberstorfer, who completed his apprenticeship within the family business and has refined his craftsmanship over many years.
Nina Mayr serves as the primary point of contact for customers and is responsible for the company’s organizational structure.
